Seaport is seeking to fill the following position, based at the Cardiff facility:--
Process Manager
Role: To supervise the operation of Chemical plant, Utilities, and Storage and ensuring throughput capacity targets are met efficiently, safely and accordance with environmental policy, procedures and regulations.

Duties
Supervise the activities of assigned Operators.
Follow up standing and daily instructions issued by Operations Manager. Ensures their execution and reports progress. Carries out regular inspection of all areas to identify or detect any faults, and takes appropriate action within established guidelines.
Coordinate and supervise any maintenance activity that is carried out within the operation that is required to keep the plant running. Supervise plant shutdowns and/or start-ups on emergency actions under the overall co-ordination of the Operations Manager. Ensure adequate and accurate recording of information concerning the operation of plant, such as flow rates, process material usage, manpower attendance, maintenance problems.
Initiate actions concerning maintenance requirements and replenishment of consumables, operating instruction and/or specific requirements.
Review laboratory test results to ensure that products meet specifications, and arranges for adjustments to treat products, as warranted, to maintain quality standards..

Qualifications:
BSc in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Previous experience in Waste Chemical Process Operations
Supervisory experience
